In addition to my professional responsibilities, I actively contribute to the advancement of the security profession through ASIS International and regional security initiatives across Latin America. I currently serve as Vice President of the ASIS International Honduras Chapter and support initiatives that promote professional development, collaboration, and innovation within the security community.

I am a security executive with more than 22 years of professional experience leading integrated security, risk management, business continuity, and organizational resilience programs within complex higher education environments.
Throughout his career, he has combined expertise in technology, operations, and strategic leadership to transform security from a traditional operational function into a business-enabling discipline focused on risk reduction, organizational resilience, and operational continuity.
Currently, he serves as Director of Integrated Security at Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC), one of the largest higher education systems in Honduras, supporting multi-campus operations serving more than 30,000 students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
